How to Apply
To apply through UWC Cayman Islands students must be Caymanian and 16 or 17 years old on September 1 of the year of entry. Students must typically be in their final year of high school (i.e. due to complete CXC/IGCSEs) unless enrolled in the American system i.e. Triple C, Cayman International School. Students in their first year of A Levels or college that meet the age requirement are also eligible to apply.
Applications are typically released in January and due by February in the year of entry. The process includes a written application, interview and group stage for finalists.
For information on other national committees and the Global Selection Programme visit www.uwc.org. The Global Selection Programme is designed for students not requiring financial assistance and often works well for students residing outside of their home country. It is coordinated by UWC International in close cooperation with UWC schools, colleges and the UWC national committees. Selections are carried out by experienced UWC selection volunteers on an ongoing basis.
