How to Apply

22flyer

All 18 UWC schools and colleges provide a two-year pre-university education program. In these final two years of secondary school, the academic curriculum is the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

There are two main ways that you can apply:

To apply through UWC Cayman Islands students must be Caymanian and 16 or 17 years old on September 1 of the year of entry. Students must typically be in their final year of high school (i.e. due to complete CXC/IGCSEs) unless enrolled in the American system i.e. Triple C, Cayman International School. Students in their first year of A Levels or college that meet the age requirement are also eligible to apply.

UWC Cayman Islands Applications

Applications are due March 1. See application attached below.

The process includes a written application, interview and group stage for finalists.

Please email uwccaymanislands@gmail.com if you have any other questions at this time.

Alternatively, see below for information on the Global Selections Programme:

The UWC Global Selection Programme (GSP) is designed for those applicants who:

  • are not eligible for or wish to forgo financial assistance
  • are looking to attend a specific school or college

There are currently 16 UWC schools and colleges that offer admission through the Global Selection Programme. No scholarships are available through this route and places are limited. You can find more information about school fees here.

Through the GSP, you can apply for entry to a single school, to up to three schools, or to any school (no preference).

The UWC Global Selection Programme is coordinated by UWC International and the UWC schools, in close cooperation with the UWC national committees. Experienced UWC selection volunteers from across the movement participate in different stages of the selection process.

If you are unsure which application route is right for you, have a look at UWC International’s website for more information.
